The summer package includes three tests: DEXA Body Composition (fat mass, lean muscle, bone density), VO2 Max (cardiorespiratory fitness), and RMR (resting metabolic rate). A free personalized nutrition plan is included with every booking. All three tests are completed in a single appointment.
Plan for approximately 60 to 75 minutes total. The DEXA scan takes around 8 minutes, VO2 Max 15 to 20 minutes, and RMR 15 to 20 minutes. A brief consultation to walk through your results is included.
For the DEXA scan, avoid eating a large meal or exercising heavily in the 3 hours before. For the VO2 Max and RMR tests, avoid caffeine and significant exercise for at least 4 hours prior. You'll receive specific preparation instructions by email after booking.
DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) measures your body composition with ±2% accuracy — separating fat mass, lean muscle mass, and bone mineral density. It also shows regional distribution: how much fat is visceral (surrounding your organs) versus subcutaneous, and how muscle is distributed across your limbs and trunk.
You'll wear a mask that measures the oxygen you inhale and the carbon dioxide you exhale while performing a progressively harder workout on a bike or treadmill. The test identifies your true aerobic ceiling — not an estimate from a wearable, but a direct clinical measurement.
Your results will be loaded inside the DexaFit ai app and are reviewed with you at the end of your appointment. The report explains what each number means, how you compare to your age and sex cohort, and what actions you can take to improve, and much more detailed insights.
